What We Do
The Consulate General of Mexico in Vancouver has coordinated the Fresh from Mexico Pavilion in an effort to showcase some of the amazing companies that offer Mexican produce.
Below is a list and brief description of the showcased companies:
[1] GREAT FOODS GLOBAL
At Great Foods Global, we made it our mission to bring the highest quality Mexican produce to Canada. With our streamlined supply chain, we are able to deliver the freshest and most flavorful produce to customers across the country.
Our Farms in Mexico are able to produce a variety of fresh produce to meet Canadian demands. With a favourable climate for growing crops year around, we are on a mission to meet the high-demand of fresh and nutritive produce that can't be locally produced, making our imports essential for Canadian consumers to enjoy a wide selection of produce.
[2] COFOCE Guanajuato:
COFOCE is the Economic Promotion Agency of the State of Guanajuato, a leader in the agribusiness sector in Mexico and internationally recognized for its high level of competitiveness and for maintaining a balanced use of natural resources.
Guanajuato is characterized by its growing export culture, meeting international quality standards in its agricultural products and satisfying the most demanding markets in the world.
Guanajuato is the largest producer of broccoli, cauliflower and lettuce, the second largest producer of onion and asparagus, and the third largest producer of strawberries in Mexico.
[3] Dampack Commercial Packaging:
A supplier of tens of millions of rubber band tags across North America since 2007, Dampack is transforming the way packaging solutions for the produce industry impact the environment.
At CPMA 2024, Dampack is announcing their one-of-a-kind, 100% biodegradable rubber band tag.
This innovation will remove thousands of tons of polymers in future waste while maintaining their tags’ trusted resistance standards.
[4] Catania Worldwide:
Since 1929, Catania Worldwide, family-owned, vertically integrated enterprise, excels in growing limes, kiwi, persimmons, and fresh figs in Mexico and California.
We also import citrus fruits, kiwifruit, cactus pears, and more.
Our distribution spans from Canada to New Jersey, Texas, California, and Mexico, ensuring all distribution hubs meet rigorous quality standards.
[5] Vivid Produce:
Vivid Produce is a unique fresh produce wholesaler based in Calgary, Alberta.
They offer an extensive range of exotic and tropical fruits, such as Rambutan, Guava, Papaya, Jackfruit, Thai Banana and Mangos, in addition to a vast range of Asian vegetables and roots.
Vivid Produce prides itself working directly with Mexican growers, constantly innovating and growing their offerings, to meet the demands of a growing diverse market within Canada.
[6] Grupo Munguia Ortega
We are a producer and exporter of Mexican products such as roasted and salted crickets and mole paste, which is a typical paste from Mexico made of chocolate, different types of chili, almonds, walnuts, raisins, all kinds of nuts, banana, pepper, onion, garlic and tortillas all of those products mixed.
Grupo Munguia Ortega's Mexican products are currently sold to major distributors, retail stores and restaurants located in Vancouver Canada, Texas and Arkansas states in the USA.

We work hand in hand with local producers from our region in the states of Tlaxcala, Morelos, and Puebla Mexico. Together we create a supply chain that allows for the exportation of final goods, providing quality in product and logistics.
We offer the following services:
i) Exportation of vegetables (zucchini, chives, broccoli, coriander, cabbage) of the highest quality, meeting international standards
